Die Arbeit untersucht die Schnittstelle zwischen der Identität der Unterdrückten und der Unterdrückenden. Durch vier fiktive Figuren erkundet die Erzählerin verschiedene Aspekte ihrer eigenen Identität. Ihre Erziehung in einem Militärhaushalt, geprägt von kolonialem Erbe sowie ihre Erfahrungen mit der Hierarchie des Militärs, von Geschlecht und Kasten, haben ihre Sprachweise – sowohl mündlich als auch körperlich – tief beeinflusst und spiegeln einen anhaltenden institutionellen Einfluss wider. Sie analysiert, wie sich die auferlegte Hierarchie und eine nicht-muttersprachliche Sprache auf die Formung ihrer Identität auswirken. Verankert in der Selbstbefragung, lädt diese Ausstellung zur Reflexion über die Komplexität und die vielschichtigen Auswirkungen historischer und gegenwärtiger Erzählungen und Ereignisse auf individuelle Identitäten ein.

The work explores the intersection between the identity of the oppressed and the oppressor. Through four fictional characters, the narrator explores different aspects of her identity.Her upbringing in a military household, shaped by colonial legacy, and her exposure to the hierarchy of the military, gender and caste have deeply influenced her oral and body language, reflecting a lingering institutional influence. She examines how the imposition of hierarchy and a non-native language play in shaping her identity. Rooted in self-inquiry, this presentation invites reflection on the complexities and the layered impact of historical and present-day narratives and events on individual identities.

Wanting to make a difference in the world, she strives to be kind and empathetic. Complex information that is not accessible to everyone, and in an ever-changing world, it is her greatest interest as a designer to explore how she can create concepts and identities through different media for anyone to engage with.
