In her first book, Elefanten im Garten, 2015, Meral Kureyshi

recounts a life marked by migration. It is a novel about

origins and detachment, about loss and tenacity, as well

as the story of salvation and a new beginning through writing.

In 2020 she publishes FÜNF Jahreszeiten in which

she talks about the life of a young woman looking for a

place in the world between freedom and powerlessness,

friendship and love.
